BELARUS ELLINA GRAYPEL

As I am standing next to my father in my new  music video "Belarus",  I am  feeling a lot of sorrow!  Losing him was the greatest loss of my life . My father  was my hero , my inspiration  and my most supportive friend. 

At  the same time as losing him, my family immigrated to the United States.  Those days,  I didn't know that I would gain a loving home, opportunities to realize my dreams, and a peaceful life.  Also, I didnt know that, years later, I would proudly call myself American.  Those days, I only knew that I had suffered the loss of  a childhood moving from Belarus.  

In my heart I will always love Belarus as my roots and foundation. It was there that I learned to compose music  and experienced my first love. 

With eternal gratitude for that , the song Belarus was born.

Seeing the violence coming from Belarus recently has been extremely concerning for me.  I am wishing for that sweet little country to find prosperity and peace! To all of you listening  I hope this song brings you strength and healing.
